TCS SEMINAR GUIDE

TCS-SEMINARS AT YOUR FACILITY

We appreciate your interest in conducting a multi-day self-defense seminar under the guidance of Walter Schmidt.  This document was designed to facilitate you with making this event a memorable success for all participants.  It serves as a guideline assisting you in answering all basic questions and checking off all action steps to a successful seminar. Thus, let’s get started by answering some basic questions

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM ATTENDANCE?

Walter Schmidt has taught classes with up to 500 participants in large venues, thus there is literally no limitation in terms of the scope. As a guideline for space requirements, to teach 30 participants we require approximately 1,600 square feet. Thus, limit in terms of participants per event is strictly dictated by the venue facilities available space.

WHAT DOES THE SEMINAR FORMAT LOOK LIKE?

SEM I seminars are taught over an extended weekend period in four “Modules,” starting Friday evening and finishing up Sunday evening. Teaching in “Modules” allows much more flexibility in terms of attendance, as participants who are restricted by either time or finances can opt to attend viewer modules. The modules are taught “linear,” meaning that each module builds upon the previous module. Thus it is required to attend the modules in order. Example; to participate in “Module 3” the participation of “Modules 1 & 2” are required as well.

WHAT IS TAUGHT IN EACH MODULE?

SEM I seminars are designed to accommodate people who are engaging in an self-defense seminar for the first time as well as martial arts experts alike. All participants will be mentally as well as physically challenged and experience a completely unique operational pace, combined with stacks of new information, both in terms of technique and conception.
