Even though the namesake points at various classical Filipino Martial Arts stiles such as Escrima, Arnis or Kali, where Tactical Combat Escrima has its original roots from, TCE has evolved into a modern close quarter combat system that is completely dedicated to effectiveness and applicability versus traditional aspects found in other stiles. TCE applications are an ideal skillset for anyone who’s personal safety is of major concern. This can include people living in an unsafe neighborhood who require heightened personal safety, to security and police units who command a higher amount of control over violent assailants, as well as members of the armed forces who operate in high-risk environments.
To achieve high efficiency, the students start from the onset with weapons and learn to convert the principles into unarmed applications during their education.
